Whether you are new to the world of dry particulates handling and processing or a seasoned veteran, your pay and happiness in your current role are two of the most important elements of professional life. Do your colleagues make more money than you? Should you ask for a raise? How does your job satisfaction compare with that of your peers? To help give our readers some insight into these and other issues associated with compensation and employment in industry, Powder & Bulk Solids presents the results of our first-ever salary survey.

We surveyed engineers and other industry stakeholders to provide a view of median salaries and job satisfaction across a range of job titles and industries. Our editors also analyzed the data to highlight pay based on level of experience and number of employees managed. Our survey was conducted from March 30 to May 11, 2020, and we received 383 responses.
