The renowned bulk material engineering firm is hiring a Sales Engineer and a Laboratory Technician.

Bulk material engineering firm Jenike & Johanson is looking to fill a Sales Engineer position and a Laboratory Technician role.

Sales Engineer

The sales engineer will aggressively pursue new accounts while working to grow existing account relationships.  The candidate is expected to improve penetration in existing accounts by offering bulk material handling solutions to operational problems related to storage, processing, conveying, and safety.  The candidate is expected to leverage company resources to consistently provide timely and complete offerings to customer needs. This position is based in Boston.

Laboratory Technician

The primary purpose of a Jenike laboratory technician is to effectively characterize the unique properties of powders and bulk solids to ensure the company’s clients’ needs are satisfied and they’re thrilled with the results.

A Jenike laboratory technician is required to:

  • rapidly learn, apply, and retain laboratory practices, SOPs, and systems;
  • collaborate with laboratory team and engineers to provide powder and bulk solids flow property test results that support engineering in addressing client needs;
  • communicate clearly throughout each testing project to inform lab manager and engineers of important observations and progress;
  • work independently and safely toward the timely completion of work;
  • live the corporate values of ownership, excellence, and integrity; and participate in other duties, as directed.

When filled, the Laboratory Engineer will be based in Boston and serve the Boston and Toronto offices.
