Chevron Phillips Chemical CEO/President Becomes Newest ACC Officer
Steve Prusak will assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and chair of ACC’s Board Finance, Audit, and Membership Committee. And then move to anew role after one year.
The American Chemistry Council (ACC) has named Steve Prusak, president & CEO of Chevron Phillips Chemical, ACC’s newest officer, beginning January 1, 2025.
“Steve will provide a highly respected leadership example for the industry by advocating for policies that support growing chemical production here in the United States, demonstrating the importance of engaging with and supporting local communities, and delivering business value throughout the chemical and plastics supply chain,” said ACC President and CEO, Chris Jahn. “I’m pleased to have him serve in this important leadership capacity.”
Erin Kane, current chairwoman of the ACC Board and president and CEO of AdvanSix, said that Prusak embodies the values of safety and sustainability “and demonstrates that every day through his commitment to his employees, his stakeholders and the communities he serves.”
Prusak will first assume the role of Vice Chairman of the Board and chair of ACC’s Board Finance, Audit and Membership Committee. He’ll serve in the role for one year, followed by one-year term each as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Board.
