Bristol, PA-based powder and small particle vacuum conveying solutions provider Volkmann, Inc., recently appointed David Sanchez as one of its Sales Engineers, further expanding its support of the North and Central American markets, a company press release said Tuesday.

Sanchez will join the sales team in the company’s Bristol, PA facility and will be responsible for the generation of sales for Volkmann equipment as well as adding a level of depth for its controls section.

The incoming sales engineer holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University having completed their highly acclaimed Co-Op program. He is an experienced mechanical engineer with extensive B2B sales as well as a process engineering and controls background. He also has the practical experience of site team supervision with large scale industrial machinery. Sanchez is a U.S. native and fluent Spanish language speaker.

“We are delighted to add David to our team,” said a statement by Volkmann’s president, Nick Hayes. “As our business has grown, we have developed the need for additional sales staff. David’s ability to work throughout our complete coverage area is a major benefit for our clients and represents a further development in our North and Central American Division.”

Volkmann engineers and manufactures vacuum conveyors, bag dump stations, unloaders and equipment for the safe handling of fine chemicals, granules, pellets, tablets, food particles and small components.
