Italian industrial firm Syncro Group, a producer of profile control systems and equipment for dosing and thickness measurement, announced recently that it has taken an 80% stake in powder solutions firm Plantech. 

"The acquisition of Plantech is a great opportunity for our Group, which allows us to continue to implement our sales strategies and achieve the growth objectives we have set ourselves - said Gabriele Caccia, president and chief executive officer of Syncro Group, in a company press release.

Based in Camposanto, Italy, Plantech specializes in the handling of powders, granules, and liquids. Its customers come from various industrial sectors, including food, cement, pharmaceutical, chemical, and plastics.

“The opportunities that will arise from the alignment of the respective activities are very stimulating, as they will allow us to approach new or not yet appropriately developed markets,” Alessandro Colombo, partner of Syncro-CST, said in a statement. 

The Syncro Group operates with its sister companies Syncro-CST, Syncro-Blowntech, and Syncro-Plasmac, with headquarters in Busto Arsizio (VA) and branches in the U.S., China and Japan.
