Molded and vacuum-formed plastics manufacturer Redline Plastics LLC plans to invest $12 million to expand its production facility in Manitowoc, WI, a release issued by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) announced Monday.

“We are growing our operations in Wisconsin thanks to the great business climate in the state, in addition to the wonderful workforce and abundance of customers in the Midwest,” Redline Plastics’ owner and president, Chuck Weber, said in a statement.

The company will construct a new 117,500-sq-ft manufacturing plant in Manitowoc, which will include 11,000 sq ft of office space and a warehouse. Once operational, the facility will contain rotational molding, vacuum forming assets and operations for leather and textile cut-and-sew products for Dowco Powersports and Redline Plastics.

44 new jobs are expected to be created at the plant during the next three years. WEDC has approved $150,000 in state income tax credits during that period in connection to the firm’s job creation and capital investment plans.

Work on the new facility is expected to reach completion in November this year.
