A new president was recently selected to lead food company Kraft Heinz Canada, replacing Nina Barton as she transitions to a new role as the Chief Growth Officer of Kraft Heinz’s global business, the firm announced in a release Tuesday.

Bruno Keller, who previously served as Canadian category team leader and the leader of Kraft Heinz for Southern Europe, became president on September 1.

“I am truly excited to take on the role as President of Kraft Heinz Canada,” said Keller in a statement. “Canada offers many challenges and exciting opportunities for growth, and I look forward to working with the team and building on the many successes that Nina has created.”

A native of Brazil, Keller has over two decades of experience with CPG companies. He joined the company in 2014 as Director of Trade Marketing and Revenue Management in Italy and was promoted to Managing Director of the Italian business. Keller has been the head of category for Canada since 2018.

In her new role, Barton will be based out of Chicago and report to the chief executive officer of Kraft Heinz, Miguel Patricio.
