Incoming Hershey Co. CEO Names Executive Leadership Team

Incoming president and chief executive officer of the Hershey Co. Michele Buck named a new senior executive leadership team to support the organization when she assumes her role on March 1, 2017, the Hershey, PA company announced Thursday.

Todd Tillemans will assume the role of president of Hershey’s U.S. business on April 3. He previously worked for Unilever for 23 years, including a leadership role the company’s skin business in Europe and Russia, personal care business in the U.S., and as president of U.S. customer development.
Hershey’s current president of China & Asia, Steven Schiller, will be elevated to president of international, including the Americas region, India, and Europe, while continuing to oversee markets in China and other Asian countries.
The company’s current chief supply chain officer, Terry O’Day, was named chief product supply and technology officer, responsible for productivity, information technology, and enterprise connectivity efforts.
Waheed Zaman, Hershey’s chief knowledge and technology officer, will retire on March 31, the company said.
A search continues for a new chief growth officer to lead the company’s insights and analytics, strategy, marketing, innovation, research and development, mergers and acquisitions, and The Hershey Experience. The company said it has identified a candidate and the unidentified person will join the company this spring.
Senior vice president and chief financial officer Patricia Little, senior vice president, general counsel and secretary Leslie Turner, senior vice president and chief human resources officer Kevin Walling, and senior vice president and chief administrative officer Mike Wege will remain in their current roles.
