Honeywell Finalizes Buyout of Intelligrated

Honeywell announced Tuesday that its $1.5 billion acquisition of warehouse automation and supply chain solutions provider Intelligrated is complete.

“With the continued growth of e-commerce, retailers and supply chain companies need a range of enterprise solutions to enhance their operational accuracy, efficiency, and safety,” said Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions’ president and chief executive officer John Waldron in a statement. “We welcome the talented Intelligrated team to Honeywell and look forward to bringing together their innovated automated material handling solutions and software with our data capture and workflow performance technology.”

Intelligrated is a provider of automated storage and retrieval systems, palletizers, robotics, software solutions and tote-handling equipment. Honeywell announced its intentions to aquire the company this July.

“Our offering will enable businesses to harness the power of the Industrial Internet of Things to optimize productivity and increase fulfillment speed,” said Waldron.
