Bulk Solids Innovation Center Announces Upcoming Courses

The Kansas State University Bulk Solids Innovation Center (BSIC) announced a new lineup of courses offered in early 2020 to support professionals working with bulk solid materials. The university-level research center product testing, and global education related to bulk solids storage, flow, and conveying.

The upcoming courses include: 

Foundations of Pneumatic Conveying
Hands-on learning will show the advantages and disadvantages of each type of pneumatic conveying system. All components will be shown and discussed. Case study examples and reference materials will be provided for selecting the correct systems and components. Learn more and register online.

Feb. 4-5, 2020 | 15 PDHs | $1000 before Dec. 27

Advanced Pneumatic Conveying
This course provides detailed instruction for specifying, designing, and sizing a pneumatic conveying system. It involves a combination of theory, calculations, and practical hands-on application. Participants are encouraged to bring their specific questions and issues for discussion. Learn more and register online.

February 25-27, 2020 | 21 PDHs | $1300 before Jan. 17

Gravity Flow & Storage of Bulk Solids
Reliable flow and storage are an issue at many plants. This course addresses how to prevent those problems and how to address them if they occur.
