Brother Gearmotors Debuts Online Product Configurator

Producer of sub-fractional AC gearmotors and reducers for the food and beverage industry, material handling, and packaging industries Brother Gearmotors debuted an online product configurator on their homepage of to assist manufacturers in determining which gearmotors and reducers best meet their production needs and suit existing equipment, the Bridgewater, NJ company announced Tuesday.

“Brother Gearmotors’ new product configurator will greatly aid our customers in determining the ideal product for their needs,” said Matthew Roberson, senior director of the company, in a statement. “Thanks to their compact size, high durability, and superior sealing capabilities, our gearmotors continue to serve a wide variety of industries well, helping to increase operational efficiencies and eliminate costly downtime.”

Visitors to Brother Gearmotors’ website can use a quick search function by product style, output RPM and horsepower, or part number, or perform a more advanced search using parameters including output RPM, product type, mounting style, gear ratio, horsepower, frame size and more. The tool allows users to compare up to 10 different products at once, with more detailed 3D, 2D, and technical data with specs available on individual product pages.

The company’s newly revamped website also includes an energy efficiency calculator, which assists in calculating annual cost savings of a Brother IE3 motor over a standard IE1 motor; the option to search for sales representatives by state, and case studies on Brother gearmotors customers.
