BEUMER Group Hires New Director of Customer Support

Industrial equipment and services firm BEUMER Group recently named Guido Hesse as its new director of customer support, who will head up the firm’s global Center of Competence and help form the company’s approach to technical and organizational services and support, a press release announced Friday.

Hesse, 50, will be based at the BEUMER Group’s headquarters in Beckum, Germany.

“We see our task not only in preventing malfunctions and machine breakdowns, which would lead to long downtimes,” said Hesse in a statement. “No matter what industry, our customers have to meet the ever-increasing market demands and improve the capacity of the equipment, for example. And we will take care of this.”

Before joining BEUMER Group he held various commercial management positions in the machine and plant engineering industry with a strong focus on international business. Hesse took care of subsidiaries abroad and worked as commercial director in Mexico. He realised successful turnkey projects in large-scale plant engineering for the cement industry. Since 2013 he has been working for BEUMER Group. Prior to his appointment as director of Customer Support, he was managing director of the Mexican group company.
