Manufacturer, distributor, and service provider of bulk conveyor components and accessories ASGCO recently moved into its new 10,000-sq-ft distribution and service center in Rockville, VA, offering customers in the state a wider range of service capabilities and increased inventory, the Allentown, PA company announced Monday.

Located northwest of Richmond, VA off of I-64 and I-295 at 2371 Lanier Road in Rockville, the site gives the company’s service fleet access to customer plant sites, reducing the response time for service calls. The site is stocked with ASGCO’s conveyor components and its distributed products including conveyor belts, idlers, pulleys, gearboxes, and other conveyor-components.

The site will offer services like belt splicing, conveyor component change-outs, steel fabrication, chute lining, belt cleaner installation and maintenance programs, point cloud scanning, laser alignment services, and conveyor safety and training classes.

“We are excited about this next step for ASGCO and feel this is a natural fit with our long-term focus on proving our customers with quality products and unmatched service,” Aaron Gibbs, president of ASGCO, said in a statement.

With two acres of lay down area for further expansion, ASGCO said in a press release that the opening of the site marks “the start of many successful years in the great state of Virginia.”

ASGCO has a total of 6 distribution and service centers in the United States serving customers across industries like aggregates and other hard rock mining, pulp and paper, iron and steel, chemicals, minerals, and coal and biomass energy.
