A new, 600-sq-m flavor creation and customer service center was opened by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) in Sydney on Tuesday, the Chicago-based company announced by press release.
“We are growing our capabilities in the Australia New Zealand region so we can offer customers the full capabilities of our extensive flavors and specialty ingredients portfolio,” said Vince Macciocchi, president of ADM’s WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients business, in a statement. “We are already the go-to provider of flavors, ingredients, and complete solutions for a wide range of customers across ANZ.”
The new facility features two application laboratories to develop prototypes of beverage, dairy, sugar, and chocolate confectionery and bakery products and an area dedicated to creating flavors that appeal to the taste buds of Australians and New Zealanders, the company said.
“We are tremendously excited about our new flavor creation and customer innovation center, which will allow us to work even more closely with our customers to serve all their food and beverage solution needs,” said Bran van Hulsen, managing director of ADM’s WILD Flavors and Specialty Ingredients and Corn businesses in Australia and New Zealand. “In addition, this high-tech facility has dedicated capabilities that will allow us to offer our customers unique solutions that fit ANZ tastes and trends.”
Archer Daniels Midland currently serves customers in over 160 countries.
