2020 Powder Show Conference: Education, Experts, CEUs

February 24, 2020

The program for the International Powder & Bulk Solids Conference, April 28-30 at the Donald P. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, is crafted with input from an advisory board full of industry experts. Designed for new and experienced processing professionals to learn the latest in safety, efficiency, and compliance, this flexible conference program provides in-depth technical training to help attendees brush up on the fundamentals or tackle more advanced topics.

Whether you're a new engineer who needs industry-specific training or an industry veteran looking to refresh your skills, the expert-led conference program provides the education you need to deepen your expertise and advance your career. With four focused tracks and a variety of session formats, you'll get in-depth, hands-on training you can't find anywhere else.

IEEE Continuing Education Credits
This year for the first time, the Powder Show conference will offer attendees the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Credits (CEUs).

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) will offer its valuable accreditation to all-access and one-day conference pass holders. Whether you are looking to maintain your license or enhance your resume, acquire IEEE professional development hours (PDHs) and continuing education units (CEUs) throughout the four-track program.

IEEE CEUs can help you meet training requirements for thousands of companies around the U.S.; stand out to employers by strengthening your resume and expertise; maintain your engineering license (currently 30 states require PDHs for P.E. licensure).

How it Works
For every hour spent attending Conference sessions, you'll receive one PDH. The extensive program means you can choose from over 52 PDHs during the conference. Once you've accrued 10 PDHs, you can receive a CEU and an official IEEE certificate. Any additional hours can be used toward future accreditation.

3 Steps to IEEE Credits
In order to receive the credits, you need to get an all-access or one-day conference pass and build your schedule (be sure to scan your badge before each session). Then fill out the IEEE evaluation form and submit it to [email protected] by May 8, 2020. Once you've accrued 10 PDHs, you can receive a CEU and an official IEEE certificate. Any additional hours can be used toward future accreditation.

The Powder Show's in-depth learning curriculum provides expert-led, hands-on training curated and presented by the best and brightest in the processing industry. With four tracks of content to choose from and sessions geared toward new entrants into the industry as well as experienced pros, attendees can build the schedule that's right for them. From step-by-step training designed to help you manage safety hazards, to strategies for reducing downtime, increasing efficiencies, and improving changeover times, attendees will widen your processing knowledge with relevant applications across a wide range of industries, including food, chemical, pharmaceuticals, and more. This comprehensive program will provide the in-depth education and training needed to advance careers.

Learn from the Processing Industry's Best
The Powder Show's conference is a rare opportunity to tap into the expertise of industry leaders on topics ranging from standards and regulations to robotics and automation.

Presented by the industry's best and brightest, conference sessions are designed to be relevant to both new industry professionals and experienced pros. In addition to learning new ways to think about and apply processing technologies, study real-world examples of novel technology applications.
