Piab, a leading supplier of industrial vacuum technology, introduces the first three in a series of application configurators at www.piab.com.
These configurators tailor towards a specific vacuum application and guide the user to a suggested vacuum solution based on a few parameters that the user enters describing their need for a vacuum system solution.
Currently, there are application configurators for the packaging industry for handling bags and pouches, and one for palletizing products. The third application configurator deals with vacuum conveying for successfully moving powders/granules.
The solution consists of a bill of materials listing all the vacuum products suggested to successfully handle your application along with information on the individual products. There is also a configuration summary that lists your application parameters along with the suggested configuration complete with drawings and instructions on proper placement of the Piab products.
There will be more application configurators added to the Piab Web site in the next few months.
