Stedman Receives State Concurrent Resolution for 175th Anniversary

Stedman recently received a state concurrent resolution in honor of the company’s 175th anniversary in 2009. The resolution was presented to Dennis Gilmour, president of Stedman, by Johnny Nugent, Indiana State Senator 9th District.
     
Established in 1834, Stedman is based in Aurora, IN. The company has a long history of providing customers with innovative solutions to size reduction and bulk material processing. Stedman’s founder, Nathan Stedman, is credited with inventing the cage mill.

Stedman manufactures equipment for crushing, pulverizing, fine grinding, and blending a broad range of materials for applications from 40 in. to -50 microns.    Stedman’s line of equipment includes the Mega-Slam primary impactor, Grand Slam secondary impactor, V-Slam impactor, F, H, and Y Series cage mills, Micro-Max fine grind air-swept mill, Aurora dual rotor crushers, Grand Slam waste recycler and a newly redesigned fabricated hammer mill line.
     
Stedman operates a complete testing facility that is equipped with field-size equipment, where customers can witness first hand, crushing results, power consumption, and machine operation.
