Smith oversees the operation of Netzsch’s U.S. grinding division and the company’s products and is responsible for product development in the pharmaceutical industry and related applications.
After joining Netzsch in 1988, Smith served in multiple roles, including service engineer, regional sales manager, and national sales manager. He most recently served as vice president, responsible for sales, operations, and service throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Widener University (Chester, PA) and a Master of Business Administration from Keller School of Management (Chicago).
Miranda is responsible for growing the customer base throughout the U.S. and Canada for Netzsch’s grinding division. His primary objective is to improve customer relationships by creating and managing a knowledgeable sales force, and by providing custom technical solutions for Netzsch customers.
Prior to his promotion, Miranda served as director of sales for Netzsch -Condux in Hanau, Germany, where he was responsible for international sales and marketing. He joined Netzsch in 2001 as manager of business development for the U.S. market.
Previously, Miranda served as manager of the chemical and plastics division for North and South America at Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems (Summit, NJ). He also worked as a plant engineer and manufacturing manager at Synfax Manufacturing (Fairfield, NJ), a liquid and dry toner manufacturing company.
Miranda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University (Rutherford, NJ).
