Jarrard Joins Plattco

Plattco Corp. has announced the addition of Robert Jarrard to its leadership team in the position of vice president of sales & marketing. Since joining the internationally recognized leader of double flap airlock valves on January 31, Jarrard has begun the next phase of introducing the valve manufacturer’s products and services to an even larger audience.

Prior to joining Plattco, Jarrard provided complete sales force management for foreign and domestic companies with a focus on creating, restructuring, or energizing sales in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe. He is also experienced with penetrating new markets and increasing market share for manufacturers based in Asia, Europe, and Australia. His background includes working with Fortune 500 companies, Canadian and Chinese publicly traded companies.
 
Among his specialties are sales force development, incentive structures, alignment of corporate and sales goals, contract negotiations, brand creation and strategies, ascertaining differential advantages, and developing marketing/sales programs to promote those differentials.
 
Plattco specializes in the design and manufacture of double flap airlock valves and associated multi-purpose slide gates. Plattco is an integrated manufacturer with engineering capabilities, a pattern shop, foundry and machine shop at its facilities in Plattsburgh, NY.
