A worker was killed by an auger while performing maintenance on a silo on Dec. 13 at the Ethan Allen furniture factory in Beecher Falls, VT. The victim, identified as 55-year-old Bruce Biron, had worked for the company for more than 25 years, according to local media reports.
“Bruce was a valued member of our team. We are all shocked and devastated by this loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends,” Ethan Allen Vice President of Case Goods Manufacturing Mike Worth told the Caledonian Record.
