Candy maker Mars Inc. promoted Chief Marketing & Customer Officer Andrew Clarke to Global President of Mars Wrigley Confectionery, replacing Martin Redvan, the company announced in a press release Tuesday.
“Andrew is the right person to lead Mars Wrigley Confectionery into its next chapter. His track record for driving ambitious change while delivering results is the fuel our business needs to thrive in an ever-changing consumer and retail landscape,” Grant F. Reid, chief executive officer of Mars Inc., said in a statement. “Andrew brings great global perspective, combined with a principled approach to leadership and passion for engaging and inspiring teams.”
Clarke has served as chief marketing & customer officer at Mars since 2015, developing a new integrated strategy during his tenure. Joining Mars in the U.K. in 2010, he also served as Category Leadership Director for Mars Chocolate and occupied a number of general management roles in the company’s chocolate, pet care, and food segments. From 2011 to 2014, Clarke held the position of Regional President for Petcare in Latin America.

Martin Redvan is stepping down from his present role of president of Mars Wrigley Confectionery after to retire after a 32-year career with the company.
