Nestle Canada plans to fill 150 new full-time jobs at its London, ON ice cream production plant following the completion of an expansion project at the site, the company announced in a press release Thursday.

A job fair is scheduled for June 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hellenic Community Center in London. The hiring push comes following the completion of a CAD$51.5 million (about $39 million) expansion project at the London plant. Brands like Häagen-Dazs, Parlour, and Drumstick are produced at the Nestle site for customers across Canada.

“We are really proud to be a part of the London community and excited to be able to offer even more valuable employment opportunities within it,” Arthur van Raalte, director of factory operations at Nestle Canada, said in a statement. “For the past 52 years, we have been building a strong foundation for jobs within our state-of-the-art facility that people can feel proud of, and hope to do the same for many more years to come.”

Roles in production, packaging, palletizing, sanitization and other areas are available.
