Roto-Disc® Co. manufactures heavy-duty industrial valves for tough dry material and slurry applications. The valves will slice through almost any sticky, gummy or abrasive substance and won’t leak, gum-up or pinch/break product, even in high pressure (100psi) or high temperature (1200°F) applications. The valves are ideal for the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries and as replacements for ball, knife, and butterfly valves. Sanitary, bubble-tight and diverter styles are also available. Almost anything that runs through a process line can run through these workhorse valves.
Typical products include plastic pellets, powdered metals, pharmaceutical powders, seasonings, pulp & paper, dye intermediaries, biological waste slurry, and sand.
Typical applications include mixer inlet & discharge, reactor fill and discharge, refill of loss-in-weight feeders, dilute and dense-phase pneumatic conveying, bulk-bag fill and discharge.
Available in 2-16 inch port sizes (larger sizes available upon request). Common body materials include 304& 316 Stainless Steel, Hastelloy-C, Ductile Iron, 4140 Carbon Steel, Aluminum and Aluminum Bronze. Common seal materials include Teflon®, Viton, Viton© Extreme, Buna, Neoprene, Silicone Rubber, Perflouroelastomer (FFKM), Urethane and EPDM.
Automated air-lock (double-dump) assemblies and flow control solutions for precise flow measurement are available.
