Kistler-Morse Microcell strain gauge weighing sensors transform a silo, tank, or other vessel into a scale. This bolt-on technology provides continuous measurement of bulk material in in storage vessels. The sensors are highly sensitive, thermally stable, semiconductor strain gauges that bolt directly to the support structure of a vessel, making them easy to install, retrofit, and maintain. The vessel becomes a weighing system as the sensors continually measure changes in the compression of each support member and provide an electrical output directly related to material weight. These strain gauge sensors are not fooled by side build-up, angles of repose, or air pockets.
