Powder Processing Mills
This full line of powder processing mills is capable of coarse to ultrafine grinding. The Kek Kibbler prebreaker is designed to accept lumps up to 150 mm in diameter and reduce them to 2–3 mm in diameter. Minimal fines are produced. The Kek cone mill, ideal for intermediate size reduction, is a gentle, low-energy mill that is capable of controls within fine limits, while maintaining a close particle-size distribution with minimal fine generation. The Kek fine-grinding universal mill is a versatile, high-energy fine grinder. Available with interchangeable grinding media, it offers one-pass size reduction of powders and granules. The ultrafine grinding PPS air classifier mill provides precise control over particle cut-point selection.

Lump Breakers
Two models of lump breakers are designed to reduce softer and abrasive products such as filter cakes, foodstuffs, chemicals, fertilizers, and fly ash into sizes that can be further processed. Both models are available with motor and drive options, as well as various materials of construction including mild steel, stainless steel, Hastelloy, etc., to suit the mechanical and chemical elements of the application. Custom designs include, but are not limited to, inlets, outlets, mount stands, and integrated controls.

Air Classifying Mill
The Mikro ACM-e has been specifically designed for the carbon black industry. The enhanced model offers improved product quality and is cleaner and nearly grit-free compared with other air classifier mills. The new model is energy efficient and exhibits low-pressure drop, thus requiring less power than similar capacity systems. The mill is designed for ambient and hot gas operation. PLC-based controls result in superior production capabilities and precise processing. This system can be easily integrated with existing systems and can be installed in-line. Models are available from laboratory size up to production sizes with 300-hp rotor drives.

Classifier Mill
This classifier mill offers the combination of two-stage closed-circuit grinding with interstage classification. Developed to handle high volume and very-fine-size reduction jobs, it fine grinds and classifies materials such as grain, sugar, spices, glazes, protein, gelatin, and cocoa. The mill utilizes a 3- to 200-hp motor and provides size reduction from 100 mesh down to low micron sizes. It combines classifying with grinding, and its unique design provides a narrow spread of particle size. All material that is ground in the first stage enters a classifying chamber. Particles larger than specified are rejected by the classifier, thereby allowing only properly sized product to exit the mill. All rejected material is directed to the third stage, a separate part of the grinding rotor, where it is processed until it is an acceptable size. The unit is especially useful on hard-to-grind materials and on narrow particle-distribution curves.

High-Capacity Crusher
The Delumper Twin-LP is a powerful, high-capacity crusher that can efficiently reduce lumps, chunks, and agglomerates without churning or overgrinding. This precision crusher is provided with inlet openings from 28- to 50-in. long. The DC2840 Twin-LP features a one-piece stainless-steel body, with no cracks or crevices, for material accumulation. Two shafts with individual high-profile cutting teeth rotate through a heavy bar grating to crush the material, while self-clearing with each rotation. This unit is provided with shaft seals, heavy-duty roller bearings, and a direct-drive with a choice of motors.

Screen Classifying Cutter
The SCC-15 screen classifying cutter cuts hard, soft, and fibrous materials into controlled particle sizes. The classifier cuts granules down to 20–30 mesh with minimal fines, and at rates of 500 cu ft/hr. The patented helical rotor design has dozens of cutter heads attached to a helical array of staggered holders called interconnected parallelograms. This continuously shears oversize materials against twin stationary bed knives. Carbide-tipped cutter heads along the entire shaft, with no frontal gaps between the tips, cut the product into uniform pieces with minimum fines and imperfections in the granulate. This process creates little to no heat generation. The cutter has a 15-in. throat width and can be fitted with 30 parallelograms with 60 cutter inserts. Bed-screen perforations range from 1⁄32- to 11⁄2 -in. in diameter and up to 3 sq in. Units are available in industrial, abrasion-resistant, stainless-steel, and food-grade construction.
