Remi Trottier, particle technology specialist, The Dow Chemical Co., has over 20 years of industrial experience in particle characterization, aerosol science, air filtration, and solids processing technology. Dr. Trottier has authored some 20 papers and has served as an instructor for several short courses on particle characterization.
Eric P. Maynard, senior consultant, Jenike & Johanson Inc., has designed handling systems for bulk solids including cement and its raw materials used in its manufacture, coal, plastic powder, food products, and pharmaceuticals. He is also the cement industry specialist at Jenike & Johanson, where he specializes in crushing technology and equipment design for handling cohesive and sticky bulk solids.
