To meet the reliability demands and accuracy requirements needed for extremely low feed rate applications, 3Sigma developed the Model SS04 mass flow vibratory feeder. The company recently commissioned a new Model SS04 GeoMate loss-in-weight feeder to meter corn starch at a rate of 22.7 g/min. The GeoMate LIW feeder applies product in a pulseless fashion, into the process, with a feeding accuracy to +1.23g at II standard deviations. The GeoMate feeder is manufactured completely from SS and comes with a two-year warranty. Mass flow feeding and the fact that it operates with no moving parts make it reliable.
