Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, has released a new video on its “MiHow2” series of product/application solutions. The instructive video series’ goal is to share practical industrial applications that viewers can adapt in their own facilities.

“Benefits of Using Elastomeric Couplings” was created with the assistance of ABB-Baldor, a power and automation technologies leader and a Motion Industries key supplier.  The video, which looks at applications for using either elastomeric or metallic couplings, can now be viewed at www.mihow2.com.

“There are many application-specific factors to consider when choosing a coupling, and getting it right in the beginning can avoid unnecessary maintenance time and cost,” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ senior VP of marketing, product management, & strategic planning. “This video effectively covers the matching of some common applications to the appropriate coupling.”

Each MiHow2 video was filmed in a workshop setting, and features the Motion Industries host with a guest from one of the market-leading industrial manufacturers demonstrating a product or application. The series is also available for viewing via Facebook and YouTube.  Additional MiHow2 videos are scheduled to be posted in coming weeks.
