Bag Dump Station with Integral Bag Compactor
The new design of this bag compactor offers advantages when dumping bags through a bag dump station. The bag compactor can be connected directly to the side of the bag dump station so that the operator can insert the empty bag directly into the bag compactor and utilize the effects of the integral dust collector to avoid spilling any excess powder on the floor. The design offers a mail box front door for standalone use, fork lift slots for portability, all pneumatic operation, a dust collection port, easy-to-use push-button controls, 5000-lb compression force, and compacts up to 150 bags. The Tip-Tite drum dumper seals drums against a discharge cone, tips the drum, mates the cone against a gasketted connection, and discharges bulk material dust-free through a slide gate valve. The unit accommodates drums from 30 to 55 gal. The drum platform is raised by a single hydraulic cylinder, creating a dust-tight seal between the rim of a drum and the underside of the discharge cone. A second hydraulic cylinder tips the platform-hood assembly and drum, stopping at dump angles of 45, 60, or 90 degrees with a motion-dampening feature. The vertically oriented cone mates with a gasketted inlet port fitted to the lid of an optional hopper with integral flexible screw conveyor or pneumatic pick-up adapter, or to existing process equipment. A pneumatically actuated slide gate valve prevents material flow until the discharge cone has been properly seated in the gasketted receiving ring.

Continuous Loss-in-Weight Feeding System

Material Distribution Bridge
The MaxiStore material distribution bridge is designed to provide the efficient filling of dry bulk solid materials in storage buildings. The system operates by utilizing a traveling and reversible shuttle conveyor mounted along the sidewall of the storage area. Material is fed from outside the building onto an en-masse conveyor located within the bridge structure. Utilizing shuttle belts allow the bridge to traverse on rails throughout the entire building. Material is discharged via a series of gates located throughout the length of the en-masse conveyor filling the building from floor to roof, while maximizing space and providing better and safer material distribution.
