Fine Grind Air Swept Mill
The Micro-Max fine grind air swept mill is a versatile screenless mill capable of producing a wide range of particle sizes. Typical applications are diverse, ranging from adhesives and asphalt to wheat germ and zinc oxide. The slave plate saves wear on the inlet beater plate, and the increased air flow keeps material cooler when grinding, an advantage over competitive models. By adding heat to the unit, the mill is capable of grinding and drying in one pass. The Micro-Max has oversized air inlets and outlets to allow for greater air flows, keeping the product cooler and increasing the mill’s capacity.

Bag Dump Station with Integral Bag Compactor
The new design of this bag compactor offers advantages when dumping bags through a bag dump station. The bag compactor can be connected directly to the side of the bag dump station so that the operator can insert the empty bag directly into the bag compactor and utilize the effects of the integral dust collector to avoid spilling any excess powder on the floor. The design offers a mail box front door for standalone use, fork lift slots for portability, all pneumatic operation, a dust collection port, easy-to-use push-button controls, 5000-lb compression force, and compacts up to 150 bags. The bag compactor is available in carbon steel with a food-grade powder-coated finish.

Drum Dumper
The Tip-Tite drum dumper seals drums against a discharge cone, tips the drum, mates the cone against a gasketted connection, and discharges bulk material dust-free through a slide gate valve. The unit accommodates drums from 30 to 55 gal. The drum platform is raised by a single hydraulic cylinder, creating a dust-tight seal between the rim of a drum and the underside of the discharge cone. A second hydraulic cylinder tips the platform-hood assembly and drum, stopping at dump angles of 45, 60, or 90 degrees with a motion-dampening feature. The vertically oriented cone mates with a gasketted inlet port fitted to the lid of an optional hopper with integral flexible screw conveyor or pneumatic pick-up adapter, or to existing process equipment. A pneumatically actuated slide gate valve prevents material flow until the discharge cone has been properly seated in the gasketted receiving ring.

Continuous Loss-in-Weight Feeding System
Most pellets, regrind, and powders can be metered into the process, even at very low levels (>50 g/hr) with the AccuMeter series continuous loss-in-weight feeding system. This system will improve overall product quality and reduce material usage caused by over-feeding, thereby resulting in reduced product costs. It features a modular, compact design that provides complete flexibility for changes in the process. Pellets, micropellets, powders, and regrind are all accurately metered, while twin-screw feeders and special agitators are also available for non-free-flowing materials. Self-calibration eliminates the need to take manual weight samples or calibrations. Material changeovers are quick and easy, saving time, labor, and money.

Cement Particle-Size Analyzer
The Insitec cement LabSizer delivers consistent particle size measurements within the challenging environment of cement plant laboratories. Offering high performance for large-volume dry powder samples, it is especially suitable for the fully automated laboratories that are common within the industry. The instrument extends the company’s range of laser diffraction particle sizing systems for off-, on-, and at-line cement analysis. Characterizing particle size and size distribution by laser diffraction offers a cost-effective, accurate, and highly robust method of determining cement quality and strength. By enabling milling to tighter specifications, laser diffraction both increases throughput and reduces manufacturing costs, while leading to a more consistent final product. This unit uses a versatile modular design, making it compatible with any customer setup.

Fine Grind Mill
The clean-in-place F10 fine grind mill has been successfully implemented in pharmaceutical, biotech, fine chemical, and food industry applications where PSD targets range from 5–150µm. The addition of a clean-in-place design feature allows the complete wet down of internal contact areas, thereby adding an extra layer of safety. Other benefits of the mill include more than 99% product yield, tight PSD curves with a single pass, fully contained dust-tight cGMP design, minimal space requirements, rapid product changeover, and enhanced process efficiency. Quick disassembly for maintenance and cleaning, low power consumption, and low noise are some advantages the Model F10 offers. The F10 is also suitable for inert applications and is ATEX certified.

Material Distribution Bridge
The MaxiStore material distribution bridge is designed to provide the efficient filling of dry bulk solid materials in storage buildings. The system operates by utilizing a traveling and reversible shuttle conveyor mounted along the sidewall of the storage area. Material is fed from outside the building onto an en-masse conveyor located within the bridge structure. Utilizing shuttle belts allow the bridge to traverse on rails throughout the entire building. Material is discharged via a series of gates located throughout the length of the en-masse conveyor filling the building from floor to roof, while maximizing space and providing better and safer material distribution. The unit is ideal for handling materials such as animal feed, minerals, and other bulk materials at rates in excess of 1000 tn/hr.
