Single-Drive Feeder
The Tecweigh QC-10 single-drive feeder was developed in response to customer requests to speed up product changeover time. The unit couples a Flex-Feed polyurethane hopper with an opening in the bottom and the ability to agitate the hopper without driving the auger. When material needs to be changed, simply stop the feeder and place a reclaim container underneath it. Then open the bottom discharge slide gate (or remove the plug) and run the drive motor in reverse.

Dust and Fume Collector
The Gold Series GS4M mini dust collector controls emissions from small airflow applications up to 2000 cfm. It incorporates features of the Gold Series cartridge collectors—rugged construction, durability, high filtration efficiency, and ease of service—into a compact unit that is ideal for the capture of dust and fumes from small airflow processes. The collector’s quiet performance and small footprint make it ideal for indoor applications, especially where noise and space constraints are a concern. The unit is fully assembled, prewired, and complete with a low-noise fan (<70 dB), controls, motor starter, filters, and cleaning system. It contains four HemiPleat flame-
retardant filter cartridges with 788 total sq ft of media rated at 99.99% efficiency on 0.5-µm particles (MERV 12).

Pneumatic Conveying System
Conveying light bulk density powders like fumed silica, diatomaceous earth, and micro-balloons can be challenging because they behave in a fluid manner. When moving themmechanically or pneumatically they can create fugitive dust as well as lump up, causing process problems. The POWD’r PUMP’r was designed as a complete plug-and-play system specifically forconveying these ultralight powders. The ergonomic system’s bag dump station has a 5-cu-ft-capacity hopper that enables operators to fit large bags of ultralight powders into the system. The integral dust collector has a 1.5-hp fan that uses pleated polyester felt filters with PTFE coating to maximize filter filtration and product release. The combination of the system’s bag dump station and integral dust collector allows ultrafine powders to be pumped into the customer’s process vessel in a safe and dustfree environment.

Standard-Duty Diverter
This standard-duty diverter is a light air diverter that doesn’t sacrifice power. It exhausts air only from industrial machinery while it is operating. This increases suction at all other points in the system and reduces the amount of heated or cooled air exhausted from the work area, thereby saving HVAC costs. The unit is built for years of continuous use in the most demanding conditions, carries a one-year warranty, and can be manufactured from either galvanized or stainless steel.

Slide-Out Cartridge Cleaner
Designed for a variety of applications including underground, surface coal, hard rock, power plant, and load-out facilities, the MHS cartridge cleaner can slide out from one side of the conveyor or chute wall for inspection, service, or replacement by a single worker in a matter of minutes. Service only requires maintenance from one side of the conveyor or chute without any special equipment or permits. Also, its side slide-out design is safer for workers because it doesn’t require them to crawl underneath the conveyor or be in tight spaces within a chute to remove the cartridges, like most competing secondary belt cleaners do. Blades and blade cartridges can be removed within minutes to minimize conveyor downtime, resulting in a strong return on investment. Blade replacement can be done faster and easier without removing the complete assembly pole or brackets from the chute.

Dust Accumulation–Resistant Conveyor System
The EVO Standard system is a dust accumulation–resistant system that uses a new engineering concept to produce clean, safe belt conveyors from the ground up. Flat surfaces, where dust can accumulate, are eliminated. The architecture offers a complete and rethought system that is cost competitive with conventional design standards, yet will provide improved performance in cleanliness, service-friendliness, and safety. It is designed to provide complete zones of a belt conveyor, including the tail, load, carrying, and head zones. At this time, only the load zone of the EVO Standard has been introduced. Other zones will be introduced through 2010. The system is composed of a set of engineered components to be combined into a belt conveyor system. The components can be installed individually, in combination to construct each zone, or in a full new conveyor. They are suitable for use in new construction or retrofit applications. This new architecture is upgradable to meet any future material-handling challenges.

High-Capacity Screener
The Megatex XD screener can be used for high-volume screening processes in agricultural installations, including soybean processing and corn sizing for ethanol production. It is a self-contained machine that separates dry materials according to particle size, providing up to 45,000 bushels per hour of screening in a compact footprint.
