High-Temperature, High-Pressure Particulate Sensor
The Model PS 10 particulate sensor with ceramic insulation and a ceramic protective layer over the probe is designed for harsh processes with high temperatures and high pressures. For applications such as coal gasification, fluid-bed reactors in the plastics industry, kilns, high-temperature carbon black, and various combustion processes, temperature ratings up to 1600°F and pressure ratings to 1000 psi are available. The sensor housing does not have active electronics, ensuring high reliability. The sensor is remotely mounted to electronic control units with industrial temperature ratings of 160°F. The sensor monitors particulate emissions from fabric filters and particulate flow in process pipes.

High-Temperature Butterfly Valve
Featuring an inflatable seat, this high-temperature valve can operate continuously at temperatures up to 650°F in applications up to 150 psi (10 bar). The high-temperature valve provides a leak-proof seal by utilizing air pressure to expand the seat against the disc. The valve is suited for applications in which a bubble-tight seal is required—for example, hot gases, liquids, slurries, and abrasive materials. Standard sizes range from 2 to 30 in. The valve comes in a variety of construction materials and can be customized for each application.

Redesigned Lab Mill
This redesigned lab mill features larger grinding jars that are designed for low-cost small production capabilities. Up to six jars can run simultaneously and are made from all-polyurethane or solvent-resistant material with leak-tight covers. Slurry capacities are also increased to 0.45 and 1.32 L in this design. These round-bottom grinding jars offer improved wet grinding and dispersion with capabilities of 1-µm size reduction or better. Advantages include low contamination, narrow particle distribution, and safe product containment.

Large Indented PET Rounds
Alpha has added a new line of three indented, large polyethylene terephthalate (PET) rounds to its stock packaging for the nutritional industry. The 2000-, 2500-, and 3000-ml indented rounds fill a need in the industry for a single source for all three popular sizes. All three bottles are built off the same 141-g preform and feature a 110-400 continuous-thread neck. The rounds are ideal for large quantities of protein powders and bulk nutritional supplements. The indented label panel protects the label from scuffing during shipping and at retail, and the generous 110-mm neck allows consumers to use large scoops to measure the contents.

Reinforced PVC Hose
Flexadux R-2 hose is constructed of lightweight PVC, reinforced with a spring-steel wire helix, and comes in a clear FDA-approved version and a UL 94V-0 flame-retardant blue. Featuring good flexibility and a tight bending radius, this all-purpose hose has a 0.02-in.-thick wall and is ideal for a wide range of ventilation and dust- and fume-removal applications.
