High-Speed Overhead Product Orienter
This high-speed overhead orienter accepts product for palletizing and turns it 90, 180, or 270 degrees to automatically form the optimal pallet configuration for each product. The orienter can turn bags to form pallets with “butts out” bag orientation, and rotate cases and trays for pallets requiring specific panel orientation. Servo-powered for smooth handling and reliable operation, the mechanism quickly and gently grips and rotates the product to the proper position during high-speed product accumulation. Operation is fully automatic and preprogrammed according to palletizing requirements for one-touch operation at the palletizer’s touch screen display panel. New orientation sequences may be programmed simply by computer input at the control panel, or remotely by modem uplink.

Bag Filling and Closing
Technipes FUTURA filling and closing lines are designed for the fully automated packing of all product types into paper, poly, or poly-woven open-mouth bags. Bag Dump Stations
These bag dump stations are compact, self-contained units built to eliminate the labor, waste, and potential health hazards associated with the spillage and dust normally caused when bagged materials are introduced into processing systems. Construction is Type 304 stainless steel, with welded interior and exterior. Each station consists of a large collection hopper topped by a bar grate and hinged door, an integral pulse-jet filtration unit equipped with polyester cartridge filters, and a 2-hp, 865-cfm fan. When the hopper’s door is opened, the fan automatically starts to ensure that any dust is drawn through the filter. Programmable pulses of reverse air periodically dislodge the material that collects on the surfaces of the cartridge filters and allow it to fall into the collection hopper. The sloped sides of the hopper angle toward the hopper’s discharge port, which can be joined to gravity-fed spouting or to an airlock and pneumatic line.

Bulk Bag Filler
The BagPak AD automatic-ejection bulk bagger filler has been redesigned to accommodate the new palletless bag designs. This unit incorporates simple air bladders to lift the heavy-duty mesh conveyor and drive the full bag to the accumulation conveyor. Densification is accomplished via the same air bladders with quick-dump valves to create a thumping/dumping action on the bag. This type of densification has proven to be more effective than traditional high-frequency vibration for most materials. Additional automation can be achieved via a mechanical indexing arm for fast bag loading, an autopowered size-change device, and a pallet feeder.

Internally Baffled FIBC
The Clean Seal MaxSack container is an internally baffled FIBC with a spread-strap lift-loop design. The technology produces a smooth, clean edge that helps eliminate product-packaging contamination. The unique double-coated baffle fabrication prevents product contamination caused by unraveling fabric. The MaxSack baffled design can contain 25–30% more mateiral than a conventional Super Sack container of the same height.
