The acoustic 3D level scanner is an advanced ultrasonic level and volume measurement system for dry solids and powders. Each of the three horn antennas transmits a different low-frequency pulse, and records the time/distance of each echo and its direction. The digital signal processor then analyzes these received signals to produce a volume accuracy of +/- 1% (with correct number of scanners). The output signals are 4-20mA HART and MODBUS RTU. The dust-penetrating technology can measure any solids material, including carbon black, lime, coal, wood chips, titanium dioxide, fly ash, plastic pellets, and more.
